Sigma Computers extend range of services
Sigma Computers of Southampton and Warwick are proud to announce that they have extended their considerable service offering to their customers by the introduction of a full range of security cameras, equipment and processes, installation and monitoring services.
This development has come from requests from customers for better quality images from their surveillance cameras and for lower costs. Sigma is able to offer new generation "IP Cameras" as an add on to their customers existing IT network or to offer increased and improved security facilities for new installations. Camera suppliers are all recognized experts in the field and include Mobotix, Axis and Sony.
The benefits to customers are significant, including lower costs for cable installations, lower costs for equipment, greater flexibility and improved picture quality. These benefits are logical given that there is often no need for power cables, VCRs etc, the monitoring and recording is done through existing IT systems.
Probably, however, says Steve Theobald, the major benefit is the peace of mind delivered by improved security to both emploees and employers. It is this he believes is prompting customers to seek this upgrade to their existing systems.
